Every figure on pavetally.com is a planning estimate, not a quote and not an engineering specification. Confirm quantities and prices with your paving contractor or supplier before ordering material.

Estimates, not quotes

The calculators return the volume and weight of material implied by the dimensions you type in, using the assumptions published on the methodology page. They do not know your site. Uneven ground, drainage crowns, thicker edges, base condition and the specific mix your supplier runs all change the real answer.

Prices change

Cost ranges quoted in our guides come from published industry cost data, are national in scope, and are dated on the page. Asphalt pricing moves with crude oil, haul distance and season, and can differ substantially between two towns in the same state. Use published ranges to sanity-check a quote, never as the quote itself.

Not engineering advice

Required pavement thickness is a design decision that depends on subgrade soil, drainage, frost depth and expected axle loads. The depth guidance on this site describes common residential practice. For commercial work, or anywhere heavy vehicles will run, get a specification from a qualified engineer or an experienced local contractor.

Written and checked by a person

Content on this site is written and edited by Farah J.. Research tools are used the way any writer uses them — to find and check sources — but no page is published as unreviewed machine output, and every number is verified against the formula or source named on the page.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

This site does not participate in any affiliate program at this time and may run display advertising once traffic supports it. If an affiliate relationship is added in the future, it will be disclosed on this page and on any page carrying an affiliate link, at no extra cost to you. Advertising and affiliate relationships never influence a calculator's output or a guide's recommendation.

No fabricated trust signals

There are no invented testimonials, star ratings, review counts or "as featured in" logos anywhere on this site. If you see a quote from a user here, it is real and attributed. If you see none, it is because there are none yet.

Report an error

If a number here is wrong, email farahseoblogger@gmail.com with the page and the figure. Corrections are made in place and the page's "last updated" date changes to reflect it.
